7.    What kind of sound volume the HELMETs DEFOGGER has due to it has atomic fan? Does it make the rider uncomfortable?

a.    We are using the dB to level the sound volume. If the sound volume over 50dB, it starts to make people feel uncomfortable.

b.    We monitor the operating HELMETs DEFOGGER, the sound volume is lower then 25dB.

c.    The sound volume at low traffic road or empty play ground is around 70dB, so the HELMETs DEFOGGER will not make the rider uncomfortable. 

8.    What are the differences between the HELMETs DEFOGGER and other helmet defog device?

a.    Coating on mask, anti-fog sticker and/or anti-fog fluid etc.,

1.    The way they work is because they have used the different chemical materials to fill out the micro holes on the helmet mask. It will passive reduce the level that fog stay on the helmet mask.

2.    The chemical materials will be oxidized or washed off after it has been used. It will get more inefficient through the time passed. Therefore, you need to redo it frequently and it is inconvenience to do it. It will cost a lot of money and take a lot of time.

3.    It needs to be laid on the helmet mask smoothly and evenly. So, it is inconvenience and not easy to DIY on the rider’s current helmet mask.

b.    Electrical Heated Mask,

1.    It is the same ideal that cars have used on the back windshield to defog the foggy windshield. It needs a lot of electric power to create heat and use the heat to evaporate the fog passively. It is not efficient to use the power, so it is not environment friendly.

2.    It needs a lot of electric power, so it uses the electric core to connect with motorcycle. It is not all kinds of motorcycle have the plug to connect with the electrical heated mask. Therefore, it is difficult and inconvenience to operate.

3.    It is dangerous that the electric core hangs outside.

4.    It costs a lot of money and can’t DIY on different helmets.

10.      How to use and remove the HELMETs DEFOGGER?

a.    The HELMETs DEFOGGER has 2 sucking sticker to stick at any place on helmet’s mask. You can take the HELMETs DEFOGGER off by simply take the sucking stick off when not using.

b.    If you are using the standard equipped 2032 3V Lithium button battery, remember to install the battery and turn the switch on to start it.

c.    If you choose to use it with WIPER HELMET’s battery pack (AA battery), you need to connect them together by the wire come with them and turn the switch on to start it.

d.    If you use the full face helmet, we recommend you to use it with the air tube that included in our package to ventilate the air from outside of helmet. 

11.      Could the HELMETs DEFOGGER be used at 0℃/32℉ environment?

a.    According to our test, the HELMETs DEFOGGER will keep the fog out of your helmet mask even the temperature difference between inside and outside of the helmet is 50℃/122℉.

b.    The normal body temperature is around 37℃/98.6℉. The HELMETs DEFOGER will keep the helmet mask not get foggy even the outside temperature is -10 ℃/14℉.
