1. What is difference between the Wiper Helmet and the regular helmet?

a. Wiper Helmet has a special developed wiper device; this device is able to protect riders’ clear visibility whenever they are riding in the rain, snow, and/ or sand- dust- storm environments.

b. The wiper device builds under the Wiper Module and looks the same as the regular helmet.

c. Wiper module weight about 150g.

2. If the nanometer technology visor or oil painted visor can avoid the raindrops stay on the visor, are riders still needs Wiper Helmet?

a. The principle of the nanometer technology visor or oil painted visor is to let water or rain joining together to become a water drop then falling down from visor. But, they could not sweep the water away.

b. The rain is continually dropping down and staying on the visor and mess up riders’ visibility. Riders absolutely could not bearing and waiting any time for water falling down. They need the wiper to scrape water away to keep their visibility clear. Therefore, the Wiper Helmet definitely is the most needing safety feature for riders.

c. The wiper on the Wiper Helmet, its swing principle is the same as the car wiper.

3. Dose the Wiper Helmet passed the safety regulations or not?

a. Definitely, the Wiper Helmet passed many safety regulations such us ECE, DOT, CNS, CE and FCC ….

b. The wiper module is after market product which users can easily add on (Rainy day) and take off (Shiny day) by them selves.

4. What is the Wiper Helmet’s power coming from?

a. The remote control used the lithium battery (button cell).

b. The wiper module used 4 AA batteries.

5. How about the life for the battery?

a. The lithium battery used for the remote control is about 1.5 ~ 2 years.

b. The AA battery used for the wiper module is about 4 months ~ 2 years, depends on battery types and used frequency.

c. The AA battery is easy to buy and change.

6. Where the battery life time statistics is coming from?

Calculation as follow:

a. Rider rides the motorcycle 1 hour every day and 30 days a month. If the chance of rainy day is 25%. The rainy time is 7.5 hours per month and 90 hours per year.

b. In rainy time, rider completely used the wiper. The motor will work 2.1 hours per month, and 25.1 hours per year.

c. Used the data above, go through the practical test. The lithium battery could stay last to 2 years.

7. Does Wiper Helmet have the power saving device?

a. Yes, Wiper Helmet has the power saving device. Rider has to close the visor completely to turn on the power.

b. This device could prevent user turn on the power by mistake.

8. Dose rider possibly easy losing concentrates because the wiper sweeps on helmet visor is close to rider?

a. The wiper is passive device that sweep mode and timing are totally controlling by user.

b. The wiper activities could be expect and control, wiper would not occur rider loss the concentrate.

9. What is remote control’s function and how to use?

a. The remote control come with a base and belt, it is easy to attach on handlebar.

b. The remote control has three mode select buttons, each button control a different function:

I.   Fast: wiper will wipes continually.

II.  Slow: wiper will wipes intermittently (every 4 seconds).

III. Touch: wiper will wipes 2 times then stop automatically.

IV.   Under Fast and Slow mode, touch any mode button then wiper will stop wiping after the current cycle.

c. The remote control is water resistant.

10. How about the wiper’s character?

a. The wiper made by the same material as the car wiper.

b. Wiper structural combine the hard bone and the soft bone. This special design makes the wiper much stronger and more flexible.

c. Wiper swing modes and speeds are designed by software programs.

d. Wiper is expendable parts, lifetime at least one year and easy to replace.

e. If wiper swing stopped unexpectedly by foreign object or improper used. Wiper will stop at the time. User just needs to touch any mode button then wiper will move back to the initial position.

f. The wiper initial position is under helmet visor, it doesn't block rider’s visibility.

11. What are the motor’s specifications?

a. Motor specification: rpm: 60rpm, torque: 3.5kg, lifetime: 800hours.

b. Motor actions control by software programs with self-corrective function to solve the problems.

12. What are signal receiver’s specifications?

a. Effective receive distance : 7 M

b. Signal receiver location under wiper module visor with water resistant.

c. Signal receiver’s circuit board has power saving and circuit protected functions.

13. What are helmet visor’s specifications?

a. Material: PC(Polycarbonate)

b. Thickness: 0.8 ~ 1.0mm (accord to impact test)

c. Hardness: 1H ~ 3H (optional)

d. Prism dioptre: below 0.12°

e. Transparence : above 85%

f. Passed safety regulations: ECE, DOT, CNS…

14.  Is possible that Wiper module create unsafe factors?

a. No, the whole design and material used has considered safe regulations, and passed many safety regulations such us FCC,RoHS and CE

b. Remote control device use infrared, never creates radiation problem.

c. Battery used regular AA batteries and it doesn’t created electromagnetic wave, and good for green environment requirements.
